Al Thouraya Restaurant - Ezdan Hotel

Ezdan Hotel is not just a place that provides affordable accommodation. It is the largest hotel in Qatar that provides the best service, food and entertainment. Ezdan brings together a combination of spectacular views and premium location in comfortable settings.

We had the opportunity to visit Al Thouraya Restaurant in Ezdan Hotel for Friday Lunch. This restaurant is located in the fourth floor and serves contemporary International and Arabic cuisine.

Amazed were we to see the stunning mesmerizing oriental ambience of the restaurant. We never felt so good, comfortable and royal any where else. The staffs were friendly and everyone had a beautiful smile all time.The mix of International and Arabic cuisine is always my favorite. The long stretch food counters were another highlight.

Starting from salad station, there were pretty long selection of all Arabic and International mix. Tried few and there were tasty. Good enough to try along with the oriental mix grill and Grilled Chicken with Cream Basil Sauce. Sushi selections were also available but limited. Rotis were very soft and spongy and I really loved them. Lots of bread selection were there. Every piece of bread were packed in or covered with cloth preventing it from getting cold or hard. This idea is again good and have not seen something like this any other place.

Few main courses have blown my taste buds. The Lamb Majboos and Vermicelli Rice were very delicious. My little daughter enjoyed this very much. Kids favourite nuggets and chicken wings are also available.

Live Pasta counter and a full time smiling beautiful lady . Nice was to watch her cook with full passion. Beside this there were few bowls of cooked pasta displayed. Finally the dessert counter. The beautiful chocolate fountain with selection of fresh fruits and mini pastries were pleasing to eyes and mind. Arabic desserts like Umm Ali and Basbousa were very much yum.

As a dessert addict I tried almost all that was displayed. My few favorites are custard, strawberry jelly, red velvet, cream caramel, chocolate mousse cake and lemon tart.

There was one counter which I totally forgot . The soup counter. This got clicked to my eyes at the end and I didn't have any more gap to fill my tummy. May be next time and then left the restaurant fully satisfied.

Circle - Millennium Plaza Hotel

Circle at Millennium Plaza offers the best of International Buffet with ideal setting for families gatherings and corporate lunches. We enjoyed the lavish Friday Brunch Buffet which costs QR149/- per head for adults and kids below 8 years can enjoy food for free. Isn't that awesome!

Circle is organized well with different food counters - Pasta counter, Dessert counter, Mix Grill counter, Sushi counter, Salad counter, Dumplings Station , Crepe counter, Snack counter, Bread and beverages.

Freshly baked breads, buns & rotis with selection of Lurpak butter . As for beverages there were mixed fruit juice, Detox water and Mineral water. Live Crepe and Pasta counter along with rest of the spread cater to needs of every modern traveller and aims to satisfy every palate.

Mix Grill station was the perhaps the best of all. Loved the Lamb koftas. I personally loved the combination of eating these koftas along with Lamb Ouzi. The rice was perfect in flavour and texture and lamb was cooked with seasoning and love. This was something again which my kids enjoyed a lot. Tried the Paneer gravy and plain rice. The combination was again good enough. My daughter was very found of the snack counter. She managed to get several pieces of samosas, french fries, potato croqutte and nuggets.

Poped into the Sushi Counter & Dumpling Station just before having my desserts . The were so well presented appealing to eyes as to the taste buds.

Salads were huge in range and ofcourse one cannot try them all in one visit . Still I managed to have most of them especially the Turkish salads. They were truely amazing . Tried them out even with freshly prepared chappatis and buns.

Finally to my favourite counter. The Desserts ! So much in spread I basically didn't have any idea where to start from . The Panna Cotta, cakes, brownies, layered cakes, tarts, mahalabia and many more . Fresh fruits were also available along with these desserts.

Tastes are beyond the norm and one is sure to have a memorable and enjoyable experience dining at the Circle.

Visited this place to have dinner with family. The ambience is beautiful, neat and clean. The staffs of restaurant were welcoming and friendly .

We had chicken 90, chicken joshila, chicken lemon coriander soup, butter naan, chi cholo rice and chicken cheese roll, gulab jamun and falooda as dessert.

The food was above expectations. The flavours of each and every dish tried were so perfect and delicious. The soup was light and healthy with delicious flavour notes from the fresh coriander leaves and lemon aloong with few shredded pieces of chicken. The chicken items were extremely tasty. They were perfectly cooked and packed in tempting spices and sauces that makes you sit back and enjoy. My favourite is chicken cheese roll. This is a must try and highly reccomends to eveyone. You get the cheese floating from the chicken after a bite and that was amazing. The chicken was also coated with perfect batter and it was super delicious. My kids loved the chicken 90. This was again loaded with rich ingredients and it's finger licking good.

Naan was very buttery compared to other restaurants. It stayed soft and hot for longer period of time and was easy to pull and part and enjoy.

The rice was special. This again my children loved it. Beautiful aroma of great flavours were bursting from it. Digged into it were lots of boneless chicken cubes that tasted unique. Masala quantity was as much as that of rice provided. A rice bowl tasted so good and filling. You will not need anything to eat along with it.

The presentation of all food, as you can see, is impeccably quirky and appealing.

We finish off with two desserts - Gulab Jamun and Falooda.

I would say, all must definitely dive into this irrisistibly sweet, syrupy dessert Gulab Jamun after a spectacular Indian feast! Falooda was again very yummy but the mango ice cream was not so suitable for it. Vanilla or butterscotch ice cream would have been better for faloodas.

The food is excellent and memorable without being pretentious.

Celebrated The Spain National Day with ChurroMia Cafe & Ritz Carlton on Thursday 11th October 2018. I personally got the invitation and was delighted to be a part of the event at The Lagoon Dining restaurant in Ritz Carlton.

As I approached the hotel I took the assistance of a staff to direct me to The Lagoon Restaurant. He escorted me to the heart of hotel giving way down to the grand staircase where you can find restaurants, exterior pools and business center. The restaurant is beautiful and impressive with both the indoor and outdoor seating area. The layout from Lagoon Restaurant provides the ideal setting for a relaxing outing with friends and family and best option to organize any event. There were different food counters around in and out the restaurant. The weather on that day was really nice and spend quality time sitting outdoor with delicious food and lovely friends.

Sea Food Counter :

Amazing were the dishes prepared by the master chefs of Ritz Carlton. They tasted unique and perfect. You get varied options to choose from. The flavors merged into food make you sit back and have more.

Non Veg / Meat Counter :

This counter was outdoor and the dishes were super delicious. Chicken, Mutton , Beef , Rice, Mashed Potatoes and many more on the list . I personally got an opportunity to make a video with the chef introducing every dished at the counter.
